VAT in the EU member states from 1st July 2021.
In order to benefit our customers financially we are not registered for VAT in the UK (therefore we do not add VAT to our products) unfortunately all EU countries now require us to register as we are above the EU VAT threshold of €10K a figure 8 times lower than the UK limit.
We currently are running a Delivery Duty unpaid (DDU) on items Shipped via Royal Mail where the EU customer is obliged to pay local VAT before Customs release the goods for delivery. The local fee that you could be charged on your delivery will be equivalent to purchasing within your own country where local VAT or tax is applied.
We do apologies for any inconvenience this may cause to our EU customers.
We are hoping to integrate a Delivery Duty paid (DDP) into our website shorty. DDP is where we as a business charge all customs duties, and fees before shipping goods into the EU destination country. This would mean our European customers are not charged a handling fee by their own countries delivery partner.
We will therefore, shortly be introducing a new module into our website via our checkout which will collect VAT on behalf of EU member states using the IOSS portal and therefore will negate any handling fees paid by customers.
We can now offer DUTY PAID (DDP) shipments with UPS, please contact us for details.
